Installing SmartLink Widgets
You've already created and configured your SmartLink Widget--now all you need to do is install it! When you get to the Install Your SmartLink Widget screen, you'll see a row of buttons prompting you to select a platform.
- Blogger users
- Typepad users
- Typepad users: Advanced Templates
- Wordpress users
- iGoogle users
- Squarespace users
- Tumblr users
- All Other Platforms: Press Copy Script and paste the SmartLinks script into the specific template for your platform.
Blogger
- Click the Blogger button. You'll be sent to the Add the Widget as a Page Element screen. Select a blog and enter in a title.
- If you don't see your blog listed on the dropdown list, you may need to upgrade your blog template. From the Dashboard click the Template link and select the Customize Design option. You will see the following screen. Click Upgrade Your Template.
- Once it's been added, you will be directed to the Add and Arrange Page Elements page where you can rearrange its location. Click Save and you're done!



Typepad
- If you are a regular Typepad user, click the Typepad button. You'll be sent to the Add a Sidebar Widget screen. Check off the blog(s) to add this widget to.
- Enter in a widget name (or use the default) and click Add Widget.
- That's it, you're done! Optional: you can rearrange the order of your widgets by clicking Change Content Ordering.


Typepad: Advanced Templates
- If you use Advanced Templates you will need to copy the script and paste it into your sidebar. To do so, log in to your blog and click the Design tab.
- Then click the sidebar link under Index Templates.
- Then scroll to the bottom of the Template Body and paste the script in. Click Publish and you're done!


iGoogle
- Click the iGoogle button. You'll be sent to the Add "SmartLinks Widget" to your iGoogle page screen. Click Add to Google and you're done!

Squarespace
- Click the Squarespace button. You'll be sent to the Install Widget screen. Click Install Widget and you're done!
